šŸ”“ Melania Says Sheā€™ll Expand ā€˜Be Bestā€™ Campaign: ā€˜We Have A Lot To Doā€™

With President-elect Donald Trumpā€™s return to the White House just one week away, Washington, D.C. is experiencing significant change.

Melania Trump, the soon-to-be first lady, is prepared to return to the role she held from 2016 to 2020, armed with more experience and eager to broaden her ā€œBe Bestā€ initiative for the country.

During an exclusive interview with Fox Newsā€™ Ainsley Earhardt, Melania Trump discussed the Trump transition and how she offers advice to her husband.

ā€œI feel I was always me the first time as well. I just feel that people didnā€™t accept me. Maybe they didnā€™t understand me the way maybe they do now, and I didnā€™t have much support. Maybe some people, they see me as just the wife of the president, but Iā€™m standing on my own two feet, independent. I have my own thoughts. I have my own ā€˜yes and no.ā€™ I donā€™t always agree with [what] my husband is saying or doing, and thatā€™s okay,ā€ Melania Trump said.

ā€œI give him my advice. And sometimes he listens. Sometimes he doesnā€™t. And thatā€™s okay,ā€ she added in the interview.

During Trumpā€™s first time as president, Melaniaā€™s ā€œBe Bestā€ initiative, which promotes youth health and safety and fights cyberbullying, became a big part of who she was as first lady.

She wants to ā€œcontinueā€ and ā€œexpandā€ the program because it was hard for her the first time.

ā€œI didnā€™t have much support from anyone. I invited all of the streaming platforms to the White House. I had the roundtable, and I didnā€™t have much support from them. And imagine what we could do in those years if they will rally behind me and teach the children and protect them about social media and their mental health.ā€

The company said in a statement that a behind-the-scenes Amazon Prime documentary about the life of the new first lady will be released in theaters and on the streaming service later this year. The movie comes after her best-selling biography, ā€œMelania,ā€ which came out in October of last year and quickly became a bestseller.

ā€œItā€™s an exciting time,ā€ Melania said.

Trump will become the first president since Grover Cleveland to serve two terms that are not consecutive when he is sworn in on January 20. Melania said that being first lady will be easier this time because she has already been one during her husbandā€™s first term.

ā€œI know where Iā€™m going. I know the rooms where weā€™ve been living. I know the process. The first time was challenging. We didnā€™t have much of the information. The information was upheld for us from [the] previous administration. But this time I have everything.ā€

ā€œEverything needs to be planned to the minute,ā€ she said, since the transition team only has five hours to get rid of the Bidens and bring in the Trumps. When the guards change, Melania has to pack, set up her team, and make the White House her home again.

Since President Biden and First Lady Jill Biden took office on January 20, 2021, the Trump familyā€™s lives have been turned upside down. They have been charged with crimes, had attempts on their lives, and are now running for office again.

Trump beat Vice President Kamala Harris in November, winning all three12 electoral votes and all of the key swing states. The plan for his first 100 days in office is still very much in the spotlight. It focuses on taxes, immigration, and inflation.

ā€œI think it will be an exciting four years, and we have a lot to do and put the country back in shape,ā€ Melania said.
